About the Role We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our passionate and vibrant technical team at Buildsafe. Reporting into the Estimating Team Leader, you will work alongside a team of experts to prepare cost estimates in a timely manner.
Other Key functions of the role: Develop and provide accurate quotes, identifying the labor, material, and time required for each job; Assist in Purchase Order entry, ensuring correct allowances and rates are applied; Use computer software to measure specific safety products and scaffolding; Provide expert advice to builders, carpenters, and other clientele to determine their safety needs; Generate and prepare reports when required. About You To join our dynamic team, you will need to be a forward-thinking individual with a strong work ethic and can demonstrate the below:
Thorough understanding of residential construction plans Proven communication skills, both written and verbal Have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Consistently be able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks Have an eye for detail Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Suite & CRM A trade or estimating qualification/experience Previous experience in scaffolding/safety solutions costing (advantageous but not essential) An understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service in the process of building strong relationships with our clients What Buildsafe Can Offer You We are committed to providing a platform for individuals to succeed both personally and professionally.
