The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0.
This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Participate in cost controlling activities to ensure the best utilisation of the Project's resources, both capital and labour.
These activities will include data and resource analysis, gap analysis and diagnosis, the establishment of cost controller activities and the revision of the Project's Budget.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Commerce (Major in Economics or Finance) or working towards White Card Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred Basic understanding of Economic principles with regards to production quantity Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel.

Required Competencies: Demonstrated ability to develop sound working relationships with operations management in the delivery of value added management information Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills A pro-active approach with the capability to adapt to changing priorities Ability to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to get the job done. Possess strong mathematical and computer skills.
Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Effective oral and written communication skills Strong organizational, interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Assist in conducting Gap Analysis of Cost Control activities Assisting Cost Controller in calculating economic production quantity Assists in the review of the Project's Budget Assists in the establishment of cost control activities Assist in determining the best utilisation of resources (plant and labour) Assists in Data and resource analysis The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.
