We are looking for an experienced Estimator (Field based) to join our Coffs Harbour team focusing on Insurance related residential, commercial and industrial building repairs. The successful candidate will deliver high quality customer service with both internal and external clients.
Duties and responsibilities Produce educated and accurate reports, quotes, estimates and assist in construction programming as required. Ensure all provided information is compliant with current industry standards and formats. Maintain good overall knowledge of current market rates. Review, interpret and evaluate a range of technical documents including relevant and regulatory legislation of the Building & Construction industry. Ensure client and internal KPIs and SLAs are met throughout the claim process. Liaise effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project understanding and accurate costing. Represent Ezy Projects at Client Networking and Industry related events as needed. Skills To be successful in this role you will have to provide excellent customer service and successfully manage estimating and reporting expectations across the business. Strong administrative, IT, written and verbal communications and organisational skills are vital to meet this need.
You will also have excellent skills in time management and the ability to build strong relationships with our clients.
Experience: Strong WHS background. Tertiary education in Building and Construction is preferred. Previous insurance industry knowledge is helpful but not mandatory. Strong background and experience with tendering projects including repairs, fit out and new construction. Sound knowledge of market rates and requirements. Ability to meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of Insurance Property Repairs is admired. The successful candidate will have the willingness to develop, learn new skills, be adaptable to new environments and grow within the company.
