Join our team in Cairns as an Estimator and play a key role in delivering high-quality building projects for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and trade packages for building projects, including material lists and construction programs.Develop high-quality tender and quotation documentation to support successful project delivery.Supervise and assist in the planning and delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade work by managing office staff, field staff, and subcontractors.Conduct condition assessments for clients, including building inspections, material surveys, and asbestos sample collection for testing.Provide tenancy management and maintenance inspection services for Government Employee Housing.Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards by participating in audits, conducting on-site inspections, and promoting a safe work environment.Collaborate with the Regional WHS Adviser to maintain a consistent and effective safety management system (SMS) across worksites.About You: Trade qualification in the construction industry (highly desirable).Current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle a high volume of requests.Experience preparing estimates and quotations, particularly for government programs such as the Department of Education.Knowledge of WHS practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe and equitable work environment.To Apply: Applications in Word format should be forwarded to us by clicking the 'Apply' button below.
