About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Estimator. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow within the civil construction industry. You will be responsible for developing competitive tender responses and securing projects. We value your deep understanding of civil industry practices, regardless of your specific background. We are looking for someone who shows strong initiative and dedication to delivering high-quality work within our small, dedicated team.
Key responsibilities: Manage all tender requests as required. Ensure tenders are submitted within established time frames and deadlines. Manage, review and evaluate key data from tender documentation including plans, specifications, and contract documentation. Undertake take off and quantity checking. Effectively liaise with team members and clients to gather necessary information. Complete tender schedules and assist with the compilation of tender submissions. Contribute to the growth and development of our company. Cultivate positive relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Skills and Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications. Minimum of three (3) years experience within the civil construction industry. Proficiency in using relevant software packages, including Microsoft Excel, Procore, and Expert Estimation. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks as part of a team.
