Position: Estimator (Poly fabrication and construction) working across the mining, civil & water projects.
Responsibilities:
Site scopingDraft & submit quotes and tendersCollect and follow up on quotes from suppliersLiaise with client & suppliers - keep informedIssue PO's to suppliers & coordinate delivery of materials & equipmentTrack & Communicate status of ongoing worksSkills & Competency Requirements
Experience in fabrication & civil construction (preferably Poly Welding within the mining, civil & water Industry)Working knowledge of piping & civil estimation, quotation & tender preparation Can carry out detailed and accurate material quantity take-offs to develop bills of quantitiesKnowledge of pipe fitting, fabrication, welding, QA and installation processesAble to read & interpret RFQ, scope of work and engineering drawingsGood communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and suppliers.High Attention to detail, accuracy & confidentialityAnalytical, critical thinking and problem solving abilitiesEasy to get along with and work well within a team environmentAble to pass a full medical / Drug and Alcohol Screen#J-18808-Ljbffr
