Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking two highly experienced Estimators to join a Government Department.
The successful candidates will be able to choose to work from either Cannon Hill or Ipswich.
Duration: 3 Month Contract
Location: Cannon Hill or Ipswich
As the Estimator, your key responsibilities will be:
Producing high quality estimates and quotation documentation for building projects, ensuring compliance with the State Purchasing Policy, Minor Works, local instructions and tendering and contract methods, and client requirements.Undertaking research and development in project planning, budgeting, estimating, programming, delivery processes and procurement practices.Reporting on relevant estimating projects and/or programs providing information on volume, requests, clients, locations, acceptance rates, costs, schedule of rates, margins, and productivity.Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with current human resource practices and principles, including employment equity, anti-discrimination and workplace health and safety.Enhancing client relationships through effective communication, sound negotiation and the provision of timely, professional, competitive estimates.Qualifications & Experience: Knowledge and experience in Estimating.Trade knowledge/background is desirable.High experience with computer based estimating packages.A Class 'C' driver's licence is required.Clean Criminal History.If you are a proactive and experienced communications professional with a passion for managing communications across major infrastructure projects, please APPLY NOW submitting your resume in WORD format.
