This role will be in our head office in Virginia, Brisbane.
About the Role We currently have a Full-Time position available for an Estimator to join our team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Director, you will be required to manage our estimating and project documentation processes.
Duties Within this role, you will be expected to:
Submit estimates/tender response schedulesInterpreting specifications and drawings to understand scope of work for the projectsAdhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, standards and company policies and proceduresMaintain accurate document control and managementDevelop and maintain professional relationships, integrity and accountability with all staff and other stakeholderSkills Required Personal skills required for this role include:
Sound organisational abilities, including the ability to manage your own time to complete jobs within a required time frameHigh-level Excel skills and working knowledge of Procore advantageousProficient with estimating software, preferably BluebeamExcellent communication skills and ability to build strong rapport with customersSound understanding of Concrete Structures- specifications and contractsAbility to work within your scope of practiceA strong team player with a willingness to learnRequired Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a client-facing role.
