Role

An experienced Estimator is required to join the Estimating team of 4 due to an internal promotion and increase in workload.

With the support of the Estimating Manager, Senior Estimator and Directors your responsibilities will include: 
Managing estimating and pricing activities.Coordinate multiple estimates and define areas of responsibility.Perform quantity take-offs and produce bills of quantities.Review material and labour requirements, selecting cost-effective trades.Approve and submit final cost estimates to clients.Attend tender interviews and prospect new client relationships.Liaise with the construction team and prepare project schedules.Hand over projects to the delivery team.Software used: Planswift, Bluebeam and MS Projects Requirements Relevant Tertiary QualificationAt least 4+ years in an Estimating position for a commercial builderAbility to accurately price commercial projects upto $20MCommutable to Ballarat or GeelongStrong interpersonal and communication skillsTeam player and positive attitudeWillingness to learn
