Estimator

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in both the pre-construction and construction phases of projects. You will analyse project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, and collaborate closely with project managers and builders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities: Review project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive cost estimates. Conduct quantity take-offs and analyse costs of materials, labour, and overhead. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and project details. Prepare and present detailed estimates for review. Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to the team. Assist in the evaluation of contracts and tenders. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Estimator in the residential homes industry. Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and industry standards. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Proficient in Databuild software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
