Estimator - Fire ProtectionJob DetailsPosted: 10 December 2024Salary: Up to $120k + Vehicle Allowance + SuperLocation: MelbourneJob Type: SectorsCover: Reference 38565612Job DescriptionThe Client: An up-and-coming Fire Protection contractor who has carved out their own path in the market over the last few years. Currently undertaking a lot of work on Healthcare, Warehouse, Cold Storage, and NDIS projects, they need an Estimator to join their team.The Role: The role will cover Estimating for wet & dry fire projects up to a value of around $1m. Candidates must have good knowledge of all fire systems, the ability to estimate and produce tender documents.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for Wet and Dry Fire Systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.Review project plans, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate quoting.Conduct site visits as required to gather project-specific information.Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.Ensure all designs and proposals comply with Australian Standards and local regulations.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine estimates and scope.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and pricing.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in estimating within the fire protection industry, with a focus on Wet and Dry Fire Systems.Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and compliance requirements for fire systems.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.A proactive approach and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Apply NowTo apply please call Patrick at CGC on 0401926780 / 0282524003You can also email your resume to ****** or apply via this advert.
