With an outstanding name in the industry, they have an opportunity now for an experienced Estimator to join their team.Your new RoleReporting directly to the Estimating Manager, your duties and responsibilities will involve: Develop and maintain an accurate and complete costs estimate for each project, including variations and contingency planning.Ensure we have a thorough costs estimate and associated scope of work and materials.Effective internal liaison to ensure accurate specification and costing of variations and selections.Ensure costing and logistic risks and conflicts are quickly identified, communicated, and mitigated/resolved.Identify opportunities for cost control, job efficiency, and/or continuous improvement.The negotiation of competitive pricing and supply arrangements to enable consistent quality and timely delivery.Ensure effective and open communication with stakeholders.About YouA minimum of 2 years experience with single and double story homes.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a construction environment.Demonstrated negotiation skills in a commercial contracts environment.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a system, process, and/or procedure relevant to the role.Demonstrated understanding of the supply chain for trades and materials, and the inter-relationships between different components in that supply chain.Effective use of computer applications relevant to the role.Demonstrated ability to document, interpret, and analyse information including plans, schedules, job manuals and procedures, worksheets, and costings.Demonstrated understanding of contracts, quotes, budgets, and estimates terminology and process.On offer is a base salary between $110k - $120k plus super (depending on experience).If you think you would be suitable for this role and are interested in applying, please send your resume to or call Lee Plant on .
