About the roleA great opportunity has arisen in our network for an experienced Timber Frame & Truss Estimator/Detailer to join our Becks Mitre 10 Group located at our Kings Meadows site. This role is critical in ensuring the quoting, design and detailing of timber roof trusses and frames for projects are exact.What you will be doingRead & review plans to calculate costings on residential & commercial roof truss, wall frame and floor systemsPrepare & develop frame and truss designs to the point of manufactureEnsure work complies with relevant standards and Codes of PracticeWork collaboratively with the Production team to ensure projects are delivered in full on timeCommunicating with builders/customers during all stages of planning and constructionWhere required, provide site inspections relating directly to our supply of frames, truss and materials to clientsWhat you will bring to the roleUnderstand and be able to read and interpret architectural/ engineering plansExperience using Pryda software or similar detailing softwareAbility to create and compare quotes to ensure competitive pricingExcellent verbal & written communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a team environmentLife at MetcashExperience a supportive and flexible work environment.
