Estimator - Construction Industry

Due to continued growth, our client, who is a well-known residential construction company, is currently seeking an Estimator to represent the company and produce sales estimates required to support the sales process from pre-sales to commencement of construction. To be responsible and accountable for all works carried out in the production estimating department, working towards maximum profitability.Key duties include:Ensure all allocated jobs are actioned and completed within specified timeframes, as guided by management.Ensure all jobs are completed accurately in order to eliminate margin erosion and minimise errors.Provide effective and timely communication, feedback and support to all internal and external customers including sales staff & suppliers.Ensure all identified problems are communicated to the relevant manager in a timely manner.Requirements for this role:Ideally, minimum 5 years in the domestic construction industry is essential; a degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage.Reasonable trade background is an advantage.Working knowledge of construction processes and details.Competent computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word etc.), Databuild, Companion.This position is full-time in the Wodonga area.For further information or a confidential discussion contact Nicole Knott at MP Training and Recruitment during business hours on 02 6057 9333.To apply please go to our website and upload your current Cover letter and Resume, www.mptrainingandrecruitment.com.au.
