The Opportunity:The Estimator - Components and Mechanical Services will be responsible for supporting our Maintenance team with pricing and quotations for our SX components and mobile fleet repairs.
About the role: Maintain component rebuilding pricing structuresLiaise with managers and supervisors at our operating locations to ensure integrity of data is maintainedReview internal and external job pricing and tendering pricing for accuracyLiaise with customers to establish requirements for quotations, estimating and reporting requirementsDevelop SX Component and Rebuild quotations, including variations, for presenting to current and prospective clientsAssist the Maintenance team with continuous improvement opportunities for component rebuildsCommunicate with current and prospective clients of job progress and any variations to delivery datesProduction of Failed Iron ReportsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to foster ongoing businessWhat we are looking for: Previous experiences in quoting, estimating and planning heavy earthmoving mobile plant repair work in a workshop environmentMechanical Trade qualification advantageous but not essentialKnowledge and demonstrable experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and/or Hitachi earthmoving equipmentKnowledge of heavy mobile equipment condition, monitoring and analysis.Strong business and commercial pricing acumenHighly developed report writing skillsDriven approach to continuous improvement and building relationshipsPlease note: To be considered for this role, applicants must be an Australian Citizen or have a permanent residency visa.
