ABOUT THE BUILDER This builder has been operating for over 50 years with offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne working on projects up to $100mil. They complete a large number of industrial projects, but are also growing in other commercial sectors like Defence and Education. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY At the moment the estimating for Qld is still being done out of their Sydney office in conjunction with the Qld GM. They would like to bring on an estimator in Brisbane and over time build a pre-contract team around that person as they gain experience and grow professionally. In the medium term this estimator would become their Qld Estimating Manger. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE A degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or similar together with enough experience working for other builders on a range of project and contract types that you can complete most of a tender from start to finish.
