The Estimator is to prepare sales estimates and produce BOQ's & BOM's for new homes. Ensuring the delivery of quality homes on time, within budget and company standards.Located in the northern suburbs, this position will see you responsible for but not limited to:Creating Bill of Materials, Bill of Quantities, and issuing purchase orders accordinglyEnsuring all ETS's are reported and actioned promptlyUpdate and implement new supplier & trade price files into DatabuildCommunicate with suppliers, trades, engineers, and internal stakeholdersEnsure all projects are profitable by issuing margin reports and reporting on margin issues or erosionsProvide retail pricing for Colour Selections, Variations, and pricing requestsCalculate site costs and issue to sales consultantsConduct thorough analysis of tender documents to formulate contracts and report variations or additional costs to the clientThe Successful CandidateNeeds to be logical and analytical, likes working with figures and adept at working with computers, in particular with Data Build.To be considered for this role you should have the following:Previous Estimating capacity working within the building industryBe well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive and well-disciplinedExcellent written and verbal communicationBe a strong team player with a great attitude toward your workHigh attention to detail with a methodical approachExcellent leadership skills and drive and determination to exceed in your roleHigh standard of professionalismOur client offers a market leading remuneration structure.
