THE ROLEAs an Estimator, you'll ensure the accuracy and consistency of project estimates, reviewing key documents such as tenders, contract drawings, and colour schedules. You'll prepare bills of quantities and purchase orders while working with the latest estimation tools and collaborating with internal teams to deliver quality outcomes.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Reviewing tender documents, contract drawings, and colour schedules to ensure accurate estimates.Preparing bills of quantities and purchase orders with attention to detail and consistency.Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow.Supporting business staff by providing clear and accurate project estimates.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need: At least 1 year of residential estimating experience.Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and analytical tools.Experience with Timberline/WMS Estimating Software (preferred).High attention to detail and accuracy in your work.A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.Ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.An understanding of building, construction, or production estimating (advantageous).Certificate IV in Building and Construction (preferred).Perks of working with CPG: Career advancement opportunities to help you to reach your professional goals.Learning and development opportunities – online learning platform and site training.Paid parental leave for primary and secondary carer.Rewards Days for the outstanding performers – An opportunity to experience something new as part of our Reward and Recognition scheme.Discount on building a home.
