We are currently seeking applications from experienced Drill and Blast Professionals for an Estimator role within our Estimating and Contracts team based in our Perth Head Office.

Preparation of detailed estimates. Preparation and distribution of work packages to suppliers for quoted prices. Incorporate into the estimate any financial or commercial requirements as approved during the tender review process. Identifying methodology and cost options for profitable and sustainable tenders. Ensure estimates are prepared with the correct costs and input parameters. Preparation of proposals and submissions to clients. Preparing post-submission responses to clients for the clarification of matters. Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders. Obtain information/documentation from internal departments as required. Update various Estimating department registers with current information. Attend site inspections and client meetings as required. Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level. All other duties as directed by your manager. You will need:
Drill and Blast contract experience in the Civil or Mining sectors. Drill and Blast field experience in the Civil or Mining sectors. Strong mathematical abilities. Professional, well-developed written communication skills. Intermediate/Advanced skill level for the Microsoft Suite of software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Desirable: Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or equivalent. Previous experience with technical blast design. Experience with Expert Estimator software.
