About the Role: As an Estimating Assistant, you will provide assistance and administrative support to the estimating department.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, log, and promptly distribute phone calls, emails, and other communications. Keep the Tender Register up to date. Register and download tender packages for evaluation. Type, log, and distribute the minutes from Tender Meetings. Assist in preparing, coordinating, and compiling Tender Submissions and Expressions of Interest. Edit images using Adobe Photoshop Elements. Maintain the Company's Capability Statement. Update and manage Company Resumes for Tender Submissions. Support Estimators by conducting quantity take-offs. Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role within the civil, construction, and contracting sectors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to identify client needs and devise innovative bidding solutions. Proficient in various software applications, including the MS Office suite. A collaborative team player who excels in cross-functional environments and thrives under tight deadlines.
