An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to work in our growing Estates team.
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estates Paralegal to join our growing team in Brisbane CBD.
In this role, you will support our Associate by preparing estate planning documents (Wills, EPAs, AHDs), assisting with probate or letters of administration applications, managing client queries, and coordinating tasks essential to estate litigation files.
You'll maintain accurate task records, ensure deadlines are met, and uphold our firm's standards of accuracy, efficiency, and client care.
While the position is full-time, we're open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:Drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Advance Health Directives for review by the Associate.Handling estate administration tasks such as placing NOITA adverts and preparing probate filings.Communicating with clients, answering their questions, and escalating complex issues to the Associate when necessary.Gathering information for estate litigation matters and preparing draft family provision claim documents.Working closely with Client Intake to streamline new enquiries and ensure prompt responses.Managing estate planning signings, invoicing, and monitoring deadlines.You'll thrive in this role if you're self-motivated, highly organized, adaptable, and technologically savvy.
A willingness to learn and a positive, team-oriented spirit are essential.
Experience in property matters and holding a JP (Qual) or C.Dec is desirable but not mandatory.
