This position will be to support the Defence Contract for delivery of Estate Maintenance and Operations Services (EMOS) to the Department of Defence QLD and SNSW Regions.You will support the Senior Estate Appraisal Manager (SNSW) to ensure all the systems for the Estate Appraisal condition assessments are developed, implemented and meet or exceed the Defence requirements.What you'll doThe role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:Plan, organise, and prioritise work to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.Assist in delivering leading edge Estate Appraisal Management, requiring regular interface with the client, contractors and internal contract personnel.Assist with EA Desktop Appraisals for designated area or as defined by Senior Estate Appraisal Manager.Maintain responsibility for Work, Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE) implications, ensuring works are planned and executed in accordance with Spotless policy, Defence policy and the relevant environmental legislation.Support the Company goals and directives for environmental sustainability within scope of own role.What you'll bringSuitability for Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory).Relevant construction and/or engineering industry certification and/or tertiary qualifications.Significant experience in a similar field, i.e. asset management and analysis in the building industry including understanding of the BCA and relevant Australian Standards.Sound commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and make business recommendations.More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.Why work for us?Working for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit means every day you will be enabling our communities to thrive.
