Quality Assurance Officer (Food Manufacturing)

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to provide support in the maintenance of our quality systems and contribute to the overall quality control of the business.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS To be a perfect fit for this role you will have:
Minimum 1 year experience in food and beverage manufacturing industry. Knowledge of food technology systems and food quality. Problem analysis and problem solving skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously. Collaborative with a positive attitude towards work and colleagues. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and be flexible. Punctual and reliable. Strong relationship-building skills. YOUR ROLE Ensure compliance of the Quality Management and food safety systems to the highest standard - SQF. Ensure all documentation and records are being maintained. Manage laboratory testing as required. Work collaboratively with the operations and production team by providing support and assistance. Actively participate in continuous improvement, delivering to the requirements outlined in the methodology and strengthening Quality and Food Safety Systems. Ensure the use and success of structured root cause analysis after incidents relating to product quality, or the quality systems, have occurred. Put in place preventative measures to avoid recurrence of defects. Be responsible for the calibration and monitoring of on-line and off-line monitoring instruments used for measurement of quality parameters across the site. Undertake ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Quality Coordinator. *To be eligible, you must have full working rights in Australia.
