About The Role We are currently recruiting for an Account Specialist – Telco Infrastructure to join our Customer and Commercial division based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint.

Reporting to the Telecommunications Infrastructure Manager, as the Account Specialist – Telco Infrastructure you will be responsible for external customer relationships for commercial infrastructure co-location (telecommunications and related purposes).

Additionally, the Account Specialist – Telco Infrastructure is responsible for managing customer enquiries, assessing applications for Joint Use of company infrastructure against standards, and to grow and maintain revenues through increasing shared use of Essential Energy infrastructure.

About You As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

Experience in a similar role working within Electricity networks and/or Telecommunications industry Demonstrated experience in business-to-business customer relationship management Experience in collaborating with cross-divisional groups to develop new services/business growth projects Experience and knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements (Ringfencing, WHS, IPART, AER, Electricity Act) Experience in GIS and asset information software (GoogleEarth, SmallWorld and WASP) Technical knowledge of electricity networks, and/or telecommunications (wireless and/or fixed line) and/or IT networks Required Qualifications Diploma of Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant industry qualifications. Desirable Knowledge and application of the Electrical Safety Rules Customer Sales and/or Negotiation training Why Essential Energy We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 16 superannuation.
