We are currently seeking applications for the position of: Tyre Fitter / Trades Assistant at our Tamworth Depot. Above award pay rates are on offer to the successful applicant - (based on experience) plus overtime. Assistance with relocation costs for you and your family will be available, if required. Flexible RDO's/hours, rotational Saturday mornings, and overtime available. The option to transition into an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or Mature aged Apprentice. More than a job, this is a career. We promote from within. Gain experience or put your skills to the test; we do maintenance work to ground up restorations. The Role This position is ideally suited to an applicant currently working in the Tyre industry who may be looking to broaden their skill set. The appropriate person will also have the option to transition into an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic regardless of age.

The successful applicant will be required to: Hold a current C Class Drivers License. Carry out all replacements, repairs, and required maintenance of tyres on all company vehicles. Adhere to all Safe Work Procedures and Policies implemented by the Company. Manage all stock levels of new, used, re-tread, and scrap tyres and conduct regular stock takes. Assist technicians with general maintenance duties. Hold a current Forklift Licence (or be willing to obtain one). Training will be provided as required.
A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning is essential.
As part of the selection process, the successful applicant must be prepared to undergo a functional medical assessment and drug and alcohol testing.
