Position Overview This is an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused and self-motivated Project Engineer (Mechanical) to permanently join the Engineering and Reliability MRU.
Reporting to the Site Project Planning Engineer, the role will be responsible for providing management for a range of defined projects to improve and maintain the integrity of the terminal's assets.
A key focus of this role is stakeholder management and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously across the terminal.
This will be achieved through compliance with safety and environmental systems, budget requirements, standards and procedures, terminal asset management, the undertaking of defined feasibility studies, and planned capital and major maintenance works.
What are we looking for: A demonstrated history and in-depth understanding of Project management practices are essential.
Formal tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or trade qualifications with significant construction experience.
Demonstrated experience managing major upgrades and construction projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams in an industrial environment, in particular a large scale material handling site.
