We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The main focus of the Financial Controller is to manage the finance department in the delivery of financial and management accounting, project costing, and inventory requiring well-developed abilities in people leadership and development. This role is ultimately responsible for the integrity and efficiency of the financial systems of the Dealership.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
Liaising with all areas of the business, working closely with management to provide information and analysis that will facilitate decision making. Balance sheet reconciliations. Support & train administration staff. Strategic input into financial and business needs of the dealership. Overseeing the preparation and development of finance and management reports including cash flow projections, the annual budget, and quarterly forecasting. Manufacturer's reporting. Audit preparation & statutory reporting. Profitability analysis. Managing the general ledger. Managing tax and treasury functions. Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Qualified CA or CPA. Strong Excel and financial modelling skills. Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience in statutory reporting and cash flow management. Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Experience in the retail motor industry. Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills. Ability to prioritise. Your application will include the following questions:
