About the role
Metro Auto Glass is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Administration All Rounder to join our team. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in supporting the overall operations and financial management of our growing automotive glass repair business.
What you'll be doing Managing all bookkeeping and accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking and reconciliations. Preparing financial statements, reports and records to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the company's financial position. Providing administrative support across the business, such as managing customer enquiries, coordinating logistics and maintaining office systems. Assisting with general HR responsibilities, such as onboarding new employees and managing leave requests. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our accounting and administrative processes. Overseeing glass stock orders, vehicle registrations, fuel cards and E-Tags. What we're looking for Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or administration role, ideally within the automotive or retail industry. Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and software (e.g. MYOB, Xero). Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Proficient in data entry, report generation and administrative tasks. Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
