If this sounds like you, come and join us!About the roleJoin us for this part time (2-3 days a week), 5-month max term contract which can be based out of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth!As an experienced data analyst with a passion for all things ESG, you'll be supporting the delivery our ESG agenda through the management, enhancement and reporting of ESG related data.With a focus on Environment, you'll also support the implementation of our Net Zero Strategy, including climate risk work. We are a lean team with an ambitious agenda, so for candidates with a lot of drive and initiative there will be opportunity to build skills and experience and make an impact.Reporting to our Head of ESG, this role is suited to someone with strong analytical skills, who is a stickler for detail, loves engaging with stakeholders and believes in data driven change. While some ESG related experience is preferred, if this is a new area for you, we'll support you to develop your ESG knowledge.What you'll be doing day-to-daySupporting Vocus' climate change risk assessment, and processes to embed findings across our businessSupport development of Vocus' Scope 3 inventory, and process to set a SBTi aligned scope 3 targetLead Vocus' scope 1 and 2 emissions data collation, testing and reportingDriving the ongoing enhancement of ESG related data and performance reporting including development of performance analytics and insights to support business objectivesPreparing ESG related data and insights for ESG indices, stakeholder requests for information, internal reporting, customer bids and questionnaires, and Board reportsContribute to the preparation and publication of our annual ESG Report, including coordinating external assurance over ESG related dataWhat You'll bring to this role.Tertiary qualification in data science / analytics, or similar3-5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with an ESG, sustainability or climate focusStrong research skills with the capability to analyse and interpret dataProficient in managing and manipulating data along with expertise in data visualisation tools such as Power BI to improve analytical insightsEffective communication, research and report writing skillsExperience with corporate ESG reporting, reporting frameworks and standards and external assurance desiredUnderstanding of ESG trends and how they impact businessDetail oriented with excellent organizational, data management and problem-solving skillsWhat We OfferDiverse and dynamic teams with a supportive and inclusive culture.Supportive career development plans with comprehensive ongoing training, support, and development opportunities.Flexible hours and a hybrid working environmentGenerous discounts to over 400 retailers.Competitive leave benefits, including anniversary leave, purchased leave, parental leave, volunteering leave, study leave, and much more.
