Kilter Rural is part of Regal Partners Limited, an ASX-listed, specialist alternative investment manager with over A$17.2bn in funds under management. The business was established in 2004 and has been a pioneer in the delivery of sustainable investments in Australian farmland and water assets. Today the firm manages over $430m of investment assets spread across three funds and one institutional mandate. Currently, the business is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a talented, values-aligned Senior Accountant to play a significant role in the Bendigo-based Finance Team. This role offers significant diversity and works closely with the Finance Manager and Company Secretary.
As a Senior Accountant , you will play a pivotal role in managing fund accounting, unit pricing, compliance, and reporting processes. Your work will directly support Kilter Rural's mission of environmental and agricultural regeneration.

Responsibilities Manage the monthly reconciliation process for all Kilter funds, including journal entries for prepayments, accruals, and revaluations. Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly Net Asset Value reporting. Unit Pricing & Registry Management Monthly unit pricing distribution, unit allotment, and redemption processes. Maintain reconciliation of the unit registers. Support the compliance manager with other registry tasks as required. Management Reporting Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely monthly reports, providing insights into budget variances. Transaction Process and Compliance Review and approve transactions in accordance with delegated authorities. Support the administration and accounts team as needed. Annual Financial Statements and Audit Collaborate with external auditors to complete annual financial statements. New Initiatives Participate in new projects and initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Business or Commerce Degree with Accounting major. 4+ years of proven experience in a similar accounting role. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. A proactive, team-oriented approach to supporting colleagues. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
