Selection Criteria SC1 Demonstrated experience and skills in teaching Instrumental Music to students and in particular Voice and possibly guitar.

Role Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field.
Responsibilities · Develop/maintain a safe learning environment.
· Teach students to the satisfactory standard for the AMEB exams.
· Pace lessons so that children are engaged and the amount of time they can spend on tasks is maximised.
· Ensure that students understand the subject matter and cater for all levels of student ability.
· Use a variety of teaching methods to ensure all students remain engaged.
· Carry out assessment to inform planning and teaching.
· Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and achievement.
· Contribute to the college music program including, leading ensembles and rehearsals as appropriate.
· Provide performance opportunities for students, both individual and in ensembles.
