The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field.Responsibilities· Develop/maintain a safe learning environment.· Teach students to the satisfactory standard for the AMEB exams.· Ensure that students understand the subject matter and cater for all levels of student ability.· Use a variety of teaching methods to ensure all students remain engaged.· Carry out assessment to inform planning and teaching.· Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and achievement.· Contribute to the college music program including, leading ensembles and rehearsals as appropriate.· Students, both individual and in ensembles will be provided with performance opportunities.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.Conditions of EmploymentAll staff employed by the Department and schools have access to a broad range of employment conditions and working arrangements.Appointment of successful applicants will be made subject to a satisfactory pre-employment conditions check.A probationary period may apply during the first year of employment and induction and support programs provided.
