Job Summary As an ERP System Administrator based in Abbotsford, Vic, you will be responsible for working directly with Compumedics staff and third-party vendors who are engaged as business analysts and technical experts. You will provide hands-on configuration and support of Dynamics 365, Business Central/Dynamics NAV to fit with the corporate system requirements and business objectives of the Compumedics Group. The ERP System Administrator is also passionately striving to delight clients (internal and external) and seeks out ways to continuously improve their product knowledge and consulting skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Possess and maintain comprehensive experience and strong knowledge of core software, business processes, best practices, related technologies, enhancements, and industry trends. Work pro-actively with key parts of the business on strategic projects or initiatives to ensure they continue to receive value from the NAV/Business Central applications. Work reactively on break/fix support matters to ensure peak operation with minimal service disruptions. Escalate ISV related product issues and work with partners to drive for resolution in a timely manner. Apply experience and knowledge to ascertain solution requirements, potential technical options within Dynamics 365, Navision/Business Central and related technologies and scope resource requirements associated with each option. Design & test custom solutions & integrations managing functional design & scope. Effectively coordinate with development resources to build and deliver custom solutions and integrations in a timely manner. Represent Compumedics through effective communication with third-party vendors throughout the solution life cycle. Work efficiently with resources from other internal teams or external groups as needed. Act as a point of contact for staff members as a resource on IT technical troubleshooting issues. Other Duties Ensures that your work area is clean, secure, and well maintained. Performs miscellaneous projects as assigned. Updates technical skills as required. Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central experience, preferably in a support role. 4+ years experience with NAV/Business Central Finance/AR/AP modules. 2+ years experience with NAV/Business Central Manufacturing module preferred. Object-oriented programming experience strongly preferred. Excellent and demonstrated customer service experience. Microsoft Dynamics NAV Certification preferred. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English. Strong technical writing ability. Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated technical and end-user support proficiency. Able to work well independently and in a collaborative environment. Has good problem-solving skills. Able to work under pressure and time constraints. Has solid oral and written communications abilities. Detail-oriented and organized. Able to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical users. Able to assist and train others.
