About The Opportunity
Eriez is seeking a Global Process Development Manager to join the team. This role is to provide technical leadership for Flotation product development activities and commercialization projects in support of profitable growth. This position will report to the Global HydroFloat Product Manager supporting process and technical activities in a leadership role for product development, commercialization, and market penetration, as well as global support in enhancing organizational structure, systems, and processes to support Eriez Flotation's (EF) competitive strategy and advancement of profitable growth. This position interacts with different teams globally, with the option to be based in Australia, Canada, Chile, Peru, and the USA, and will be expected to work from the local Eriez office of their respective region.
Requirements
In this role, you will undertake the following duties, including but not limited to:
Provide support in the definition, planning, and execution of the product development and commercialization initiatives in accordance with the EF global strategic plan and under the direction of Global HydroFloat Product Manager. Manage EF interaction with corporate R&D stage-gate process for new flotation products through test work, analysis, and organization of EF resources. Participate in the design of proof-of-concept, pilot-scale, and demonstration-scale equipment with Eriez Corporate R&D. Identify and direct external consultants to assess and optimize the design of new flotation products to align with industry requirements. Manage technical aspects of strategic field tests for demonstration of new flotation product prototypes. Promotion of new flotation products to customers, consultants, and engineering companies through attendance at key client meetings and conferences. Author/Co-Author technical papers to support the sales effort. About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Minimum MSc Engineering degree. A minimum of 15 years of operations/engineering/research experience. Ability to learn how to perform Eriez flotation product bench & pilot scale-up procedures. Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility) in the local jurisdiction is preferred. Experience working with R&D personnel and engineering consultants. Demonstrated project management skills and report writing experience. A working understanding of project commercial processes and strategies. Business experience pertaining to product management and competitive strategy is preferred. Well organized with good leadership skills. Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills. Fluency in English with good verbal and written skills. Competency in Spanish and Portuguese languages are desired. Good computer skills and familiarity with programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, as well as material-balancing and specialized industry-related software.
