About the Role: We are seeking an experienced accountant/financial controller, qualified with at least 5 years' experience working in the capacity of Accountant or Financial Controller. The suitable candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis.
As the successful candidate you will lead a skilled team and oversee all financial operations, including:
Delivering prompt and accurate financial reporting and compliance with ATO standards. Collaborating with senior leaders to provide insightful financial analysis and strategic guidance. Driving cost-saving initiatives and enhancing financial processes for efficiency. Ensuring compliance with all taxation, superannuation, and financial regulations. Creating and managing Project and Program Commercial reporting metrics. Management of investment and other entities within the Group entity. Creating and Reviewing Budgets, Forecasts, Cost Control, and overall commercial modelling. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. CPA/CA certification preferred however not mandatory. Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management role. Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in XERO and Microsoft Excel. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and part of a team. Diligence and accuracy are imperative. Previous Accounting and Taxation consulting background ideal however not mandatory. What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
