The applicant will be primarily responsible for coordinating research activities (e.g., compiling research for daily packs, updating models and helping to arrange industry meetings) and working with a senior analyst on research projects and client requests.
The incumbent will also assist in fundamental research through deep dives on industry thematics including ESG and analysing news.
KEY ACTIVITIES Assist senior analysts on specific research projectsCollect data and compile answers for clients requestsUpdate and help develop financial modelsMaintain databases of economic and industry specific dataAccompany clients on visits and produce notesMaintain sound working relationships with Corporates, Clients, the Government, and industry organisations TEAMWORK An associate should view their role as an integral part of the team's success.
Effective teamwork contributors; actively generate ideas for the teams development; communicate issues that require action; support each other and ask for help when needed.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI'S); Quality and efficiency of worked performedRelationships with clients, corporates and external bodies KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major2-5 years' experience as a research associate.
Alternatively investment banking, accounting, wealth management background would be an advantage.Strong analytical skillsStrong understanding of financial modellingStrong excel/ spreadsheet skillsAttention to detailAbility to work under pressure when requiredExcellent interpersonal sensitivityHigh sense of commercial awarenessExcellent communication, relationship and management skills to both internal and external clientsExperience with Python, r an advantage Not the right fit?
