Position Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Job type: Full-time, 38 hours per week

Reports to: Head of Partnerships

The role: Equity Mates Media is looking for a hungry, results-driven and passionate Senior Business Development Manager to join our Sales team.
Here, you will be responsible for maintaining relations with our key brand partners, expanding our client base, and developing brand partnerships.
You'll work alongside an experienced Partnerships team to plan and deliver successful content campaigns, and find new revenue streams.
As part of our Partnerships team, you will collaborate with the Content and Production teams to ensure a smooth delivery of content, promotion and quality delivery of commercial campaigns.

The ability to be a self starter and work independently will greatly assist in your role.
We'd prefer you to have a few years of experience working at an agency, in digital media, such as podcasts, video or social, or in distribution teams at financial institutions, and are now looking for a new exciting role in an emerging startup.
Responsibilities Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with our brand and strategic goals.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual benefit and satisfaction.Negotiate and finalise partnership deals, including sponsorship agreements, content collaborations, and cross-promotion initiatives.Collaborate with internal teams (such as content, marketing, and legal) to ensure successful execution and compliance of partnership agreements.Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to identify potential partnership opportunities.Prepare and present regular reports on partnership activities, outcomes, and ROI.Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and other relevant gatherings.Work closely with the marketing team to develop co-branded campaigns that enhance partner and audience engagement.Desired Skills & Experience 2-4 years proven experience in partnership management, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the media, entertainment, or podcasting industry.Strong and engaging sales methodology, negotiation and deal-closing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to think creatively and strategically.Proven ability to hunt and close business in a solution sales approachMotivated to earn money and succeedAbility to effectively multitask in fast moving sales environmentProfessional and client outcome focusedAbility to engage and debate with Marketing Managers/Brand Managers/Business OwnersWhat we offer: A competitive salary and performance-based incentivesOpportunities for professional growth and development in a leading media start-upAbility to work across different business units, and own strategic initiativesEmployee Share Option Plans5 weeks annual leaveA creative and collaborative work environmentFlexible / hybrid work arrangementsEquity Mates Culture We're a small team with big ambition.
