Equipment Officer

We believe that people do amazing things and surround ourselves with people who are as committed as us to providing a safe and highly productive working environment for our employees.Haynes are currently seeking an Equipment Officer for our valued client Hastings Deering in their Brisbane Warehouse.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Receive new equipment, used and rentalsReview shipping reports for all new equipment arrivalsAll goods to be thoroughly inspected on receipt and shortages, damages, or discrepancies to be reported immediately to Equipment Coordinator with complete detailsResponsibility to ensure all designated storage areas are clean, safe and in an orderly state, and ensure all new received equipment is moved to its proper storage area within 24 hours of receiptParticipate in all stock takes as required, perform weekly stock takes as directed by Team Leader, and report any discrepancies immediately to the Team LeaderOn Offer:Employment on casual ongoing basisMonday to Friday rosterMinimum of 38hours per weekRequirements:Previous experience in an equipment officer positionDrivers Licence and reliable vehicleCompetent in computer useMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.At Haynes, we keep things simple: We back the talent of our people and land the jobs that best suit their needs.
