Equipment/Machine Operator - Randstad

Our client is a local family business with a 20 year reputation of engineering services to heavy industry.
Due to a projected increase in work we are looking for a Manual Machinist to be based at their Newcastle based workshop in a full time, permanent position.
What's involved?
Manual Machining that is repairs based Manual lathes and mills Horizontal and vertical borers Thermal arc spraying Hydraulic cylinder repairs General Fitting What are we looking for?
Mechanical Trade Qualification Proven experience as a manual machinist Forklift ticket preferred A keen eye for detail A can do attitude and proactivity to execute projects Excellent work references that can support your application What we can offer you: Full time, permanent position with a family owned company Attractive benefits after probation period Rotating 4 day shift roster: Monday - Thursday & Tuesday - Friday - 4 day weekend every fortnight Loaded hourly rates between $49 - $53.20 / hour Variety of workshop projects Opportunity to upskill in other areas of the workshop Newcastle ASAP start If you meet the above criteria and you would like to apply please apply via the link or call Dean on 0438 863 915.
