About the roleThiess Mount Arthur South, located just outside of Muswellbrook, have an exciting opportunity for you to expand your skills and grow with in a high performing team as a Pre-Service/Equipment Inspector.This position will be working a lifestyle roster 5/4 4/5 5/5 12.5-hour dayshift only.Your responsibilities will include: Inspecting Haul Trucks during services to identify defects & potential issues.Creating work orders based on defect severity and collaborating with maintenance planners to schedule repairs.Reviewing machine health reports to enable targeted inspections.Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of submitted job planning forms.Involvement in maintenance planning and reliability meetings.About you Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similarPost-trade experience working in the Mining, specifically with CAT 789 & 793'sSound knowledge of computer software's / previous experience with creation of work orders desirable.Demonstrated ability to work independently & across multiple departments, meet critical deadlines and high attention to detail.You will also need to always possess a high regard and practice of health and safety.What Thiess can do for you Permanent full-time positions Even time, lifestyle rosters Thiess' commitment to training & development.Salary sacrifices options – Novated leasing Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.Local gym membership discounts.
