About the role As the Kennards Hire representative to our customers, we support you with the training and development you need to be successful in your role.
The Equipment Coordinator is the critical link between a Kennards Hire branch, our customers and their projects, big or small.
You'll be in charge of everything that makes our customers' job easy; expert advice, making sure our equipment is ready for hire and the occasional pickup and delivery.
This role requires you to
Keep the yard and branch clean and organised; perform equipment cleaning in the wash bay to uphold equipment quality.
Coordinate with the workshop to have equipment serviced and ready for hire; perform basic servicing & maintenance as needed.
Be the go-to contact in the yard and branch, quickly understanding customer needs and offering expert advice on suitable equipment solutions.
Show customers how to safely operate equipment to ensure they feel prepared and confident.
Safely load, transport, and unload equipment for delivery and pickup, following all safety guidelines.
Conduct check-in and check-out inspections, noting any issues or required service actions.
Collaborate with branch and workshop teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.
About you
Successful applicants have come from various backgrounds such as; Customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance.
Customer-focused and a strong communicator who works wells in a team.
This role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods.
A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug test
Willing to learn about machinery and equipment (training provided)
Positive attitude with a commitment to safety and quality
Holds a valid driver's license
Physically fit and able to pass a drug test
