And at the end of the day, we're all focused on delivering what we say we will do – make our customers' jobs easy.About the roleAs the Kennards Hire representative to our customers, we support you with the training and development you need to be successful in your role. The Equipment Coordinator is the critical link between a Kennards Hire branch, our customers and their projects, big or small. You'll be in charge of everything that makes our customers' job easy; expert advice, making sure our equipment is ready for hire and the occasional pickup and delivery.This role requires you to:Customer Service: Be the go-to contact in the yard and branch, quickly understanding customer needs and offering expert advice on suitable equipment solutions.Demonstrations: Show customers how to safely operate equipment to ensure they feel prepared and confident.Equipment Readiness: Coordinate with the workshop to have equipment serviced and ready for hire; perform minor repairs as needed.Deliveries and Pickups: Safely load, transport, and unload equipment for delivery and pickup, following all safety guidelines.Inspections: Conduct check-in and check-out inspections, noting any issues or required service actions.Maintenance: Keep the yard and branch clean and organized; perform basic maintenance to uphold equipment quality.Teamwork: Collaborate with branch and workshop teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.About youSuccessful applicants have come from various backgrounds such as customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driving, landscaping, trade & maintenance.Customer-focused and a strong communicator who works well in a team.This role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug test.Willing to learn about machinery and equipment (training provided).Positive attitude with a commitment to safety and quality.Holds a valid driver's license.Physically fit and able to pass a drug test.Join our teamYou can always tell someone who works at Kennards Hire.
