The Equipment Coordinator is the critical link between a Kennards Hire branch, our customers and their projects, big or small. You'll be in charge of everything that makes our customers' job easy; expert advice, making sure our equipment is ready for hire and the occasional pickup and delivery.This role requires you to:Customer Service: Be the go-to contact in the yard and branch, quickly understanding customer needs and offering expert advice on suitable equipment solutions.Demonstrations: Show customers how to safely operate equipment to ensure they feel prepared and confident.Equipment Readiness: Coordinate with the workshop to have equipment serviced and ready for hire; perform minor repairs as needed.Deliveries and Pickups: Safely load, transport, and unload equipment for delivery and pickup, following all safety guidelines.Inspections: Conduct check-in and check-out inspections, noting any issues or required service actions.Maintenance: Keep the yard and branch clean and organized; perform basic maintenance to uphold equipment quality.Teamwork: Collaborate with branch and workshop teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.About youSuccessful applicants have come from various backgrounds such as customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driving, landscaping, trade & maintenance.Customer-focused and a strong communicator who works well in a team.This role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods.
