About the role
We are currently on the lookout for a confident Blast & Paint Supervisor to join our Defence Solutions team based out of our Darwin office.
The key focus of the Blast & Paint Supervisor is to directly lead and develop a team of field-based staff; ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with our quality standards, delivering on the contractual requirements of our range of customers.

Main responsibilities include:
Live and role model Eptec's Zero Harm Values – drive a safety culture and collaborative team environment.
Lead and manage field staff to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
Submit and maintain all completed site records.
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
Ensure sub-contractors/suppliers conform to project requirements.
Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with plans and procedures.
Participate in task planning and risk analysis, conduct regular audits, and maintain quality standards.
Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
To be considered for this role you need:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience supervising teams and managing complex paint & blast/remediation/waterproofing projects.
NACE 2 certified.
(highly desirable but not essential) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Experience in asset remediation and infrastructure projects, with blasting & painting, and concrete rehabilitation works.
(Highly desirable) Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes.
Familiar with Quality systems - progressing, ITPs, QA/QC liaison.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
