Epiroc Australia is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and organised Leading Hand to join our Perth Branch.
This position would suit someone who is up for a new career challenge and is looking to take ownership of the day to day activities of an operational team.

As a Leading Hand, you will play an essential role in leadership, quality control and supporting our service operations.

As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for:
Follow and comply with Epiroc policies and procedures and maintain a high safety standard at all times Identify and coordinate parts required for works and responsible for inwards/outwards goods Mentoring and on the job coaching for Apprentices Assist with the supervision of day to day workshop operations Carry out planning of toolbox and pre-start meetings, and execute actions as designated Oversee works and liaise with Supervisors on progress Monitor allocated registers and assist with various reporting and document support Oversee branch inventory in accordance with company policy consistent with contract requirements and regular stock level reviews Support the upkeep of the yard structure and layout Help maintain a culture which encourages teamwork and collaboration The successful applicant will ideally have:
Leadership experience/ability and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Extensive experience in the maintenance/breakdown repairs of surface/underground mining equipment Demonstrated hydraulic, pneumatic, Can bus & low voltage electrical diagnostics experience LF Forklift with Rigging and Dogging licences highly recommended Positive attitude and autonomous self-management ability A valid driver's license You must be a strong team player with a positive attitude and commitment to all areas of service operations.
