What will you do as Emergency Services Officer? You name it.
As a qualified ESO/MESO , you need to be able to deliver Emergency Management and frontline health care to a site-based workforce. We are currently looking for multiple Mine / Emergency Services Officers for FIFO roles from Perth. The roles are for coverage work and shutdowns; however, we also have rosters on an 8/6 or a 14/14 rotation with potential transition to permanent for the right candidates. Accommodation and meals are provided.
As the successful MESO / ESO you will be required to:
Maintain site Emergency Response Vehicles and Equipment Respond to and manage site-based incident response Manage and train the site's Emergency Response Team Provide first response medical treatment Daily management of the site medical centre (site dependent) Management of poison permit and maintain medical stock Conduct random Drug and Alcohol Testing on site and manage breathalyser equipment Ensure correct reporting of all required medical and OHS statistics Assess and coordinate the treatment of injuries and illnesses on site Maintain accurate Injury Reports and treatment records

Minimum Cert IV Healthcare or higher Cert 3 Mines Emergency Response and Rescue or Public Safety equivalent Collect specimens for Drugs of Abuse Preferably a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Emergency Services Officer within a mining/oil and gas environment National Police Clearance completed within the last 6 months (or willing to obtain) HR License preferred.
