About the role Your role as a Project Manager is all about managing the safe, profitable, timely and quality delivery of projects.
You'll have a chance to mentor junior team members and be trained to join the next generation of state managers.

In this role, you will be managing:
the delivery of multiple projects from pre-construction through to handover and defect liability. the performance of the project team, including career/skill development and mentoring. the delivery of projects in accordance with building specs and standards. head and sub-contractual requirements. tender interviews and letting of contracts, including subcontractor negotiations. project delivery systems and EHSQ responsibilities. the financial responsibilities of our projects. the detailed programmes. About you a natural leader and motivator who cares for their team and knows how to get the best out of them. construction or building-related degree or diploma, or a trade background. experience working for a principal contractor in a project management role. strong financial acumen and communication skills. ability to build and maintain effective relationships. strong understanding of project management within the construction industry (fitout and refurbishment experience would be a plus). understanding of specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability. excellent knowledge of EHSQ principles. plenty of flexibility and adaptability. ability to stay calm under pressure.
