The Role:As an Apprentice Engineer, you will have the skills required to work in the metals and engineering industry, while working towards completing your Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade). This role is open to both first-year apprentices, as well as those who have already started their Apprenticeship.

Duties include:

Working with mechanical and thermal cutting equipment

Marking out

Welding

Reading drawings and creating to specifications

Computer aided drafting

Folding metals and materials using various tools

Potential Candidates:

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Driver's license required

White card required, if not willing to obtain

Physically fit

Willing to work some weekends

Mathematical skills

High attention to detail

Willing to complete a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) MEM31922
