With a focus on enhancing mobility and connectivity, Alstom values teamwork, integrity, and excellence in all operations.DescriptionAs a Logistics Operator/Trade Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Coordinating logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Supporting inventory management and maintaining accurate stock levels.Assisting in the preparation of documentation for imports and exports.Liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve logistics-related issues.Monitoring transportation routes and schedules to optimise efficiency.Participating in safety and compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulations.Contributing to process improvements for enhanced operational efficiency.Profile Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or trade assistance roles.Essential: Forklift license.Preferred: RIW (Rail Industry Worker) certification.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
