The opportunity – Novaskill, in partnership with Walcha Council, is offering a fantastic opportunity to start your career as a Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice.
This apprenticeship includes comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring from a supportive, friendly team dedicated to helping you succeed.
As an apprentice, you will work towards earning a nationally recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, while gaining valuable hands-on experience and building lasting relationships within the Automotive and Vehicle industry.
The Role will include – Conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of light vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension etcEnsure maximum asset availabilityEnsure Asset complies with company, client site StandardsLearnings – Service body control and vehicle communication systemsDiagnose issues with engine, steering, suspension, driveline, fuel, cooling, ignition, or brakes systemsRepair vehicle components and systemsJump-start vehiclesUse a variety of automotive tools and equipmentFollow Work Health & Safety (WHS) proceduresOutcomes – Experience using automotive tools and equipmentTechniques to service, diagnose and repair vehiclesExposure to working in real and simulated mechanical workshopsThe ability to apply for your motor vehicle tradesperson certificateA strong pathway to continue your study and enhance your career opportunitiesApprenticeship Suitability Recommendations –
