Our Opportunity Work Location: Perth - Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
We are currently hiring for a number of different vacancies across our People function for HR Generalists at various levels from Advisor to Principal. You will provide HR advice and support to the HR Manager, management team and employees across:
Employee relations Industrial relations Performance management Employee engagement and retention Recruitment Record keeping and reporting Training and development, including succession planning Key Responsibilities Work closely with leadership teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of Fortescue People policies, practices, procedures that provide an optimal working environment and promote Fortescue's culture and values. Provide high level coaching/mentoring to leaders and the workforce. Support leaders with organisational reviews as required. Drive regular Fortescue People initiatives, in line with agreed timelines. Initiate, manage and contribute to major Fortescue People reports, projects, committees, reviews and/or continuous improvement activities. Support and facilitate leadership development training. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in human resources, employee relations or a related field. Demonstrated experience working in a HR generalist role covering IR/ER, performance management, organisational development, and HR reporting. Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote and uphold Fortescue People initiatives and company values within discretion and confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counselling, negotiating and report writing. Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control own workload. About Us Be part of something big.
